For reasons of hygiene, you must shower before use.
The Nordic bath concept consists of alternating hot and cold in two 10-minute stages:
You start by warming up your body in the hot bath for around ten minutes, to release toxins.
You then go outside to cool off for 5 minutes, ideally rubbing your body with snow for a few seconds, or taking a cold shower, to close the pores and eliminate toxins.
Then get back into the bath and repeat these steps twice, it’s advisable to take a very cool shower or roll around in the snow in winter for the bravest, to close the pores and eliminate toxins.
The water temperature in Nordic baths is between 35°C and 38°C.

Access to the Nordic baths: the minimum age for access to the baths is 12.
Children are the sole responsibility of their parents.

Le SAUNA (reservation required)

For reasons of hygiene, you must shower before a sauna session.

A traditional sauna session consists of 2 sessions of 10 to 15 minutes at a temperature that can vary from 70° to 100°, which is ideal for relaxing the muscles after exercise.

You sprinkle a mixture of cool water over the hot volcanic stones to create steam and a humidity level of around 30%.

Each session is followed by a cool shower, or a snow bath in winter for the bravest.
The recommended minimum age for a sauna session is 16.

In accordance with hygiene regulations for collective Nordic baths, the water is treated without chlorine. For reasons of safety and hygiene, and to respect the quality of the water, users are required to follow these few rules...

A shower is compulsory before entering the Nordic baths and saunas, and is also recommended on leaving
to remove skin residue and toxins.

It is forbidden to contaminate the bath water with (soap, perfume, bubble bath, sun cream,
massage oil, various solid or liquid products).

Food products are prohibited in and around the Nordic bath and sauna.
Loose-fitting clothing and jewellery are not permitted in the Nordic bath and sauna.

Swimwear is strongly recommended. Pants and other swimming shorts are not permitted.
The recommended duration of a Nordic bathing session is 20 minutes.
Exceeding 25 minutes can lead to drowsiness and hyperthermia.

The Nordic bath is not a swimming pool! It is forbidden to jump into the bath, dive, splash, play with a ball or make waves.

Beware of the frozen ground near the Nordic baths and sauna.

We strongly advise against drinking alcohol before or during a Nordic bathing session.

Smoking is not permitted in or around the Nordic bath/sauna.

The Nordic bath and sauna are not recommended for pregnant women, nor for people suffering from
infectious diseases, skin diseases, obesity, heart and respiratory diseases, low or high blood pressure

Nordic baths and saunas are not suitable for people taking drowsiness-inducing medication, such as
tranquillisers, antihistamines or anticoagulants.

People on medication should consult their doctor before using the Nordic bath/sauna because of the risks of drowsiness and dizziness.
